ASHLEY KENNEDY
Candidate for Vice President

Hello! My name is Ashley Kennedy,
and I have been raising Kinder goats
since I was 11. They were the first goats
I had ever had, and I've been hooked
on the breed ever since! It is my desire
to see the Association function
smoothly and efficiently, as well as
make it as easy as possible for newbies
to get started! As well as educating
people on the Kinder breed, so as to be
breeding them according to the
standard. My goal, is that one day,
when people ask you what kind of goats
you have, they'll know what a Kinder is,
instead of saying "Kinders? What's
that?" And, that the breed would be of
the highest quality and standard that
they can be.

Ramona Birdsall
Candidate for Treasurer

Hello,
As you may know  I am the current treasurer of the KGBA,
joined the association as  a charter member  under the farm
name Beauty Mountain. I have been involved with the
association in several ways over the past years. Many
changes are taking place for the KGBA and I would be more
than happy to resume the position as treasurer if the
membership would have. Best wishes to a great summer &
fall !

SUE HUSTON
Candidate for President

It has been an honored to be the
President of the Kinder Goat Breeders
Association and I would like to
continue as the President for another
year if you will allow me to do so. I
have worked in the association for
several years starting my breeding
program in 1991. I have shown Kinder
goats, put up displays of all sorts and
just promoted the Kinder in every way
that I could. It has been my privilege to
be involved with the Kinder goat and all
the breeders. There have been changes
during this past year. There have been
several projects started that have not
been completed to this date. I would
very much like to have the opportunity
to finish these projects and perhaps do
some other things that would benefit
the members and the association.
I am proud to be a Kinder goat breeder
and proud to have served this
organization in a very small way.

EDWIN Peroceschi
Candidate Member at Large

Hello,
I am serving as vice president of the
KGBA. So far this year has been full of
happenings and changes to keep our
board members busy. I would like to
continue to serve and help the KGBA
by serving as a member -at - large for
the 2011 year.  I encourage our
members to become involved by voting
and sending comments and concerns to
our board so we can better build our
association. Thank you.

JEAN JAJAN
Candidate Member at Large

I have been on the KBGA board for the past year. I live in Grants
Pass, OR and have been raising goat for over ten years. I started
with Pygmys, Nubians and Boers. I decided to downsize my herd
about 5 years ago and sold my Boers and began breeding
Kinders. I have been very active in goat activities in Southern
Oregon. I was an officer in the Southern Oregon Pygmy Goat
club and the Pygmy September Spree Show co chair for many
years. I was also on the board of the Oregon Meat Goat
Producers and co- chaired several Boer goat shows. I am
actively involved with a group of goat breeders who put on
Goats and Friends annual goat seminars through the County
Extension. I would like to see the KGBA and its breeders
promote the Kinder breed more. This can be done by
encouraging breeders to have a web site. Many counties have a
Goat days for 4-H kids and it would be great if some member
could have a table with information about the breed or if
possible a goat on display. Also get your goats out in front of the
public by showing in the open meat goat class or non sanctioned
dairy goat class of your county fair.
LISA LAMM
Candidate for Secretary

I am Lisa Lamm, candidate for
secretary of the KGBA board. I have
been on the board for several years as
member-at-large, and acting secretary
since February of this year. I live with
my husband, Craig, on 40 acres, just
west of Columbia, Missouri. We have
had goats since 2001, and currently
have about 60 Kinder, one Pygmy and
two Nubians. We eat goat meat, drink
goat milk and I make cheese, ice cream
and yogurt. I adore my goats, and think
the Kinder is easily the most awesome
goat breed. I promote the Kinder, and
goats in general, every chance I get. As
a breeder, I go the extra mile for my
goat customers, making sure they have
service and support, after the sale. I am
really enjoying the active role I have
with the current KGBA board, and look
forward to continuing as secretary in
2011.
